Daily Life at the Chaseley Care Home Our motto is "where you come first" and this is reflected from the moment you wake up or the time you prefer to get up. If your routine is rise early and have coffee with skimmed milk, brown toast with apricot jam followed by a second cup of coffee then this is what you shall have. If you don’t want to get up until late then we respect your choice and you can lie in. After breakfast you can stroll along the prom and take in the sea air or catch a tram from just outside the front door and discover the delights of the Fylde coast from Fleetwood to St Anne’s on Sea. At 11.00am for those who like routine, drinks and biscuits are served. Feel free to take them in your room or enjoy the company of your friends and the fabulous view’s of Blackpool, The Lakeland Hills and Morecambe bay from our elevated sun lounge. If you are here for Lunch this is served between 12.00 and 12.30. We always prepare and serve fresh food with our menus changing daily, weekly and monthly. Our simple philosophy is "if you don’t like it we don’t serve it". You will have a choice of three main courses and dietary needs are catered for. Your time is always your own so you are free to join the day’s activities or trips out or just sit down and relax. The time is yours and you are free to come and go as you please. Refreshments are available throughout the day and for those that are able, you may wish to have your own facilities within your room. Traditionally we serve afternoon tea and refreshments at 3.00pm Tea is served from 4.15pm with the added flexibility of eating when you please. If you are out and about and don’t want to eat until later in the evening, then this can be easily arranged. Our evenings are flexible allowing you to partake in the group activities, or relax and watch the T.V. Encompass Care are sponsor’s of the Grand Theatre Blackpool and therefore theatre nights out are common for the Chaseley Care Home. You can end the day chatting with friends in the sun lounge or watching TV. If peace and privacy is what you desire then you have your own TV Video facilities in your room.
