The accommodation provided is 5 twin, 14 single rooms intended for 24 service users, male and female over 50, to the range of needs detailed on your Assessment Part 1 of 3. The room you choose will be detailed on your agreement, including the size, not less than 9.3 Square Metres. Nursing care is not provided.

All Policies and Procedures are detailed in the Care Plan Master Manual on the work station.

Emergency admissions are informed within 48hrs about key aspects, rules and routines of the service, and to meet all other admission criteria set out in standards 2-4 within 5 working days.

You will already know your key worker, who will discuss your requirements to engage in social activities, religious services, hobbies and any leisure interests which you will find detailed, with the arrangements made for consultation with service users about the operation of the care home, on your weekly Care Plan Part 2 of 3.

Your key worker will discuss your arrangements to contact relatives, friends and visitors and who you would like to be included in the Long Stay Review Care Plan Part 3 of 3.

You will periodically be asked to complete a Family Satisfaction Survey as detailed C0230.

Our Complaints and Suggestions Policy is detailed A0100, with extra copies situated on the Residents’ notice board which you are welcome to help yourself to a copy.

The respect for your Privacy and Dignity is detailed C0460.

A copy of our last inspection report, and CQC  Relative/Visitors Card, is available in the general office.

The Fire Training is detailed as follows: for the information of residents and visitors:

In the event of a fire at the Chaseley Care Home, the safety of the residents depends heavily upon the staff to respond promptly. The appointed “Fire Officer” will ensure that all staff receive instruction, practical demonstration and training in the event of an emergency and recorded accordingly.

Instruction will be given to each new member of staff as soon as possible, and thereafter at least every six months.

In the event of fire Do not--- use the lift or chair lift, stop to collect belongings, endanger yourself, re enter the building.

When bringing in your own medication we understand that this is confidential to you.
