Is there a see view available?
Most rooms come with a sea view.

Can we bring our own personal belongings?
Yes we encourage you to make your room as homely as possible.

Can we try it before commiting ourselves?
Yes you can stay as long as you like prior to making decision to stay permanantly

Do you have outings on a regular basis?
yes we arrange individual and group outings from trips to the shops to nights at the theatre.


Is the home close to shops, parks, post office etc.
Yes, we are situated very close to local shops, post office. There is a Tramstop and Bus stop opposite the Home.

Is there a lift?
Yes, there is an eight person lift and chair lift to all floors

Is there easy access throughout the whole of the home
Yes, the building has been specially adapted for easy access for our clients and staff

Is there single or twin room choice.
Yes, there is a choice of single or twin rooms, when available

Can you bring personal things into the home?
Yes of course, we would expect our clients to bring things from home.

Can you use your room any time?
Yes, this will be your own space whenever you wish to use it.

How are your valuables kept?
There is a safe and valuables can be kept there at any time. You also have secure facilities within your room

Can you have a TV in your room
Yes, televisions are provided in each room with satellite TV and video

How much independence will you have
We encourage our clients to have as much independence as possible.

Are special diets catered for
Yes all dietary requirements are catered for

Is there a choice of food?
Our menu changes daily, weekly, monthly and we encourage you to ask for things you like. We have three choices for lunch or your own personal preference.


Can you make your own daily routine?
Yes we encourage you to have a daily routine that suits you.

Can you make private phone calls, If so is there an extra charge
private calls are an extra charge, if you wish you can have a private line in your room

Are there any restrictions on making and receiving calls
No there are no restrictions on making and receiving calls from friends and family members.

When can people visit?
Friends and family are welcome at any time to see you, if required we will supply your family with keys for the front door.

What restrictions apply to smoking
We do not allow smoking in any of the bedrooms or lounges but there is a smoking room provided.

Are there any house rules for going out, time of return etc?
We have no strict rules we common sense applies.

Will you be encouraged to pursue your hobbies
We would always encourage any interests or hobbies you had or wish to pursue whilst you were staying with us.

How much does it cost?
We charge £364.70p per week or £52.10p per night. No top-ups.

Do the clergy visit?
yes and you can ask for more visits if you wish

What happens to your room when you go on holiday?
Nothing happens, your room is yours until you leave or ask for a change.

Are religious needs catered for?
yes.

Can I see the latest inspection report
Yes we always make the latest inspection report available to anyone wishing to see it in the general office. We are proud to be the best in Blackpool and also we have been accredited by the Care Quality Commission as an "Excellent" service.
